Our Human Frame and Our Stomach as Our Second Brain: The Mouse and Our Microbiome.

“What the camera can not see – the brain will pick up. And it all began during my first hours of life on this planet.” ~ §tacy §weeney
I do not know when I decided that sexy was the new look for strict bedrest one week post hospitalization for my 11th MS flare, but I have been wearing nightgowns and headbands in my hair like I don’t even care. How is a girl supposed to rest on 60mg oral steroids every day for two weeks? It’s like a triple shot espresso for energy and whatever.
Yet, despite my prescribed medication, I still cling to a quote by the late and great inventor and businessman, Thomas Edison, as he summarizes my health vision
“The doctor (or nurse) of the future will give no medicine, but will interest his patients in the care of the human frame, in diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.” ~ Thomas Edison
Today, Wednesday, September 13, 2017, National Public Radio’s, “All Things Considered,” threw a wrench in my current human framework theory I have devoted my whole body and work to for the past eight years. And I am not referring to chiropractic care, for twisting, popping, and cracking were never sanctioned as good. And as I amend my own nursing care plan to keep the delicate mechanism of my body upright and in order, I silently repeat Solomon’s wisdom,
“Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright: but they have sought out many inventions.” – Ecc 7.
A 100 or more inventions for Multiple Sclerosis, to be sure, from IV steroids and Manotech® to stem cell transplant and Nanotech.
The wrench is this, ===€ Multiple Sclerosis was reproduced in a Mouse!, ===€ Multiple Sclerosis was reproduced in a Mouse!!, ===€ Multiple Sclerosis was reproduced in a Mouse!!! ===€.
Mounting evidence suggests that when our biota is out of balance, they contribute to MS by inciting rogue immune activity that can spread throughout the body and brain (Scientific America.) Are Probiotics for MS next? (STAT.)
A raw probiotic available in 34 probiotic strains per capsule is used for our gut, our “second brain,” to restore gastrointestinal flora, and probiotics provide protein digesting enzymes for added digestive support. My first response to the news is to overdose on 30 probiotic capsules in my refrigerator, but probiotic administration guidelines were previously self published on WordPress in December, 2015, as a Christmas gift and blessing to humanity as “Morning Meds.” My pitfall for this relapsing-remitting flare of MS – inconsistency. I have been inconsistent in swallowing an arsenal of vitamins, minerals, and supplements, that and a lack of appetite. Did you know that Jesus has food that we don’t even know about? I have been experimenting with Lion’s Mane Mushroom to improve my memory and mood.
“Then I cried unto the Lord in my trouble, and he saved me out of my distress. He sent his word and he did heal me. He delivered me from my destruction.” – Ps 107
I will forever make the human frame my study, Lord. You have a million ways to foster flavor. To correct my faulty form only takes a 1,000 reps, please make me what I am reading. I know you’re in the business of revealing. Can I just work along side you, Lord? For this breaking medical research has been too much for me today.
