I chose a tetratic color scheme, 2 sets of compliments, Red-Green and Red-Blue, and I lowered the intensity of red, blue and green with complimentary grays. It’s psychologically so exciting. All elements of art are present in this one hour study of working the problems out on the original photograph: color, texture, contrast, shape, and pattern.
