Are you a church goer?
The vote carries, thirty-one to one, in favor of partnering with Maranatha International in the construction of our new church building.
And it was in the heart of our congregation to build a sure house for the name of the LORD God.
The reason the Lord asked his people to make a sanctuary is that he may dwell among them. and I believe that’s still his reason today. The Holy Spirit shall be there perpetually.
I am immensely grateful not to fight religious oppression, certainly I would not survive. I’m grateful not to defend my right to worship according to my conscience, that it seems almost trivial to be happy about a new church building., an expensive one at that. But, I’m happy. I’m happy for the generations to come.
Surprisingly happy. Like when the final vote was announced at our church business meeting tonight, I felt a few tears roll down my face. To worship and fellowship in a new church building is long awaited, long anticipated, as though I would be healed of leprosy.
