Fireworks From Outer Space
I’ve never been able to speed up change
I have been able to slow down change
and I’ve never been happy where I’m changing
so, I learned to just be where I am changing
and if I had said to myself, I should be here
that would have been miserable
because I would just be setting myself up for a letdown
and I don’t know how you get from here to here
the great thing about being here
is there’s always a new there
I’ve never reached the end yet
the more I grow, the narrower the path gets
