“And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
— John 17:3

Mighty Intelligence

I wonder who designed all this
the brilliant people in all the €arth
I wonder who designed all this
the cattle on a thousand hills

and oh, I saw your will
you rose above
let’s talk it over
this barricade to love

I wonder who designed all this
the turning leaves in the fall
a Mighty Intelligence
working in and through all

with the unseen source
contact will be made
a thousand years to heal
our race will not fade

and oh, the places we will go
my eyes are holding

I know the one true God
the grandeur of the skies
I know the One he sent
the constant of sunrise

If there again I never lived
part of me would always be there —
in the €arth.
